The Chosen By Cats family resides at two locations. One home is in a mid-sized mid-western town. The urban setting is rife with stray and feral cat communities. The other home is located in a very rural western setting. The remote location is prime for unwanted cats to be dumped by irresponsible owners.
As cat lovers, the setting of our homes has led to our becoming inadvertent cat hoarders. Over the years, the cat populations of our homes has grown from two or three each, to six or eight … or nine. We did not intend to have so many cats. They just sort of showed up. Being the big softies we are, down on their luck kitties found forever homes.
